The ALFRA HTU is a unit for the manual addition of components that cannot be processed with the use of an automatic dosing and weighing installation. When equipped with load cells, the unit can be used as a check weigher (HTU-SB only), or as a manual dosing system. Local dust extraction can be connected to the unit, creating a safe and clean working environment for the operator.

The ALFRA HTU comes in two variants; the HTU-SB (Small Bags) and the HTU-BB (Big Bags).

The ALFRA HTU-SB is designed to manually dose from small bags and is equipped with 3 load cells for optimal weighing functionality. When a dosing is completed, the HTU-SB discharges the collected products to e.g. a transport system, a mixer or a container for further processing. The system is mounted in the floor to provide sufficient stability for its weighing functionality.

The ALFRA HTU-BB can be set in two positions, to empty both small bags and big bags. This variant is not equipped with load cells and therefore does not have a weighing functionality. The HTU-BB is mounted on the floor and has two dust extraction points. Local dust extraction can be connected, one extraction point is closed by a removable cap.
